Practice: She practiced in Bellingham, Washington for 5 years until she decided to move back to Canada this year. She had a family practice focusing on performance and prevention of future injuries.
In her chiropractic practice, she utilizes the "Chiropractic Bio Physics" (CBP) technique, selected components of "The Pettibon System" (a rehabilitation program for both the hard (boney) and soft (muscles, ligaments, discs) tissues of the spine). Spinal Decompression Therapy, as well as specialized traction equipment for more complex spinal problems. All of the patients at the BetterBack clinic are encouraged to learn home-care exercises that help people "Get Better, Faster"!
She is happy to be back in Canada and excited to help her new patients.
Background: Dr. Jacobson was born in Edmonton, Alberta and lived in Canada until she was 10 at which time she moved to the United States living in California, Texas, Florida and Washington. While she was pursuing her undergraduate she was able to study abroad in South Africa and Germany.
She has been an equestrian athlete for more than 20 years where she competed at the highest levels internationally in the demanding sport of three-day eventing.
